On one of our wonderful farm walks we saw a green wood pecker!
It was too fast to catch a photo of it though!
We are lucky to have such good wildlife on our door step. If you are staying with us and want more woodland to visit we recommend the nature reserve Flatropers Wood. Managed by Kent Wild Life, it is only 4.5 miles away and has a mixed woodland with ponds and streams.
With the warm weather we’ve been having Spring has come early this year. The Snowdrops and Primroses are in full flower in our wooded Ghyll which are guests can enjoy by walking our Farm Trails.
